[K-Drama Review] Personal Taste

Personal Taste (2010)

Jeon Jin Ho is a straight guy who is mistaken as gay when he applies to become Park Gae In's roommate. His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he's known for his stoic poker face. He's a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out a women's feelings. Gae In is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However, that doesn't stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and Jin Ho is no different. How will Gae In react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her?

Intro:
I was looking for something lighter like a funny comedy and I came across this.
Well...

Story:
I liked the story it was believable on how things were linked together.
I really got into this especially the first half. It was hilarious! probably one of the best comedy k-dramas I had seen up till this point. But the second half of the drama was a completely different tone.
As if it changed genre from romantic comedy to romantic drama and extra on the drama!
It just got really heavy in the last half of the series, episode after episode. It was still good but just heavy and lost its fun.

Acting / Cast:
Acting from Lee Min Ho was fantastic. The acting was solid from everyone. Kim Ji Suk was great too very funny.

Music:
Nothing overly memorable but nothing bad either...

Overall:
It was a bit disappointing losing the comedy side half way through as I was really enjoying the comedy side of the drama. Even though it was still good in the last half of the series but it just wasn't the same and it might stopped me from loving it.

My Score : 8/10 (I like it)
